Article 10 - Conflict of Interest
It is the intent of the Association, and in order to protect the interests of the Association, that no member of the General Assembly, nor any member of the Board of Directors shall make decisions and/or enter into contracts for and on behalf of the Association when such transactions or arrangements would have a direct personal benefit to the member/Board of Directors. This statement is intended to supplement, but not replace, any applicable state and/or federal laws governing conflicts of interest applicable to non-profits and charitable organizations. Members of the Board of Directors shall sign a conflict of interest policy, which shall be maintained with the Association’s records, and by this reference, is incorporated into the Association’s Bylaws.
