Article 14 - Amendment
- Amendment of these Bylaws may be proposed by any member. The proposed amendment shall be referred to the Board of Directors for its consideration and recommendation. A copy of the proposed amendment, with the Board's recommendations and reasons therefore, shall be forwarded to each member at least seven (7) days in advance of any vote on the proposed amendment.
- All amendments must be approved by two-thirds (2/3) of the member districts in attendance at a regular or special meeting of the Association before the amendment shall become effective. The President or his/her designee shall declare whether an amendment passed and, if so, shall sign the amendment.
- The effective date of the amendment shall be immediately, unless otherwise stated.
